Cuba’s Díaz-Canel calls on the peoples of the Americas to defend Maduro
Speaking at a massive rally in Havana near the U.S. Embassy, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel accused Washington of terrorism and urged regional resistance against what he called fascist aggression.

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel addressed thousands of supporters at a large rally in Havana, just steps away from the U.S. Embassy, delivering a forceful speech against recent U.S. actions targeting Venezuela. In his remarks, Díaz-Canel denounced the bombing of Caracas and strongly defended Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, framing the developments as a direct attack on sovereignty and international law.
“AN ACT OF TERRORISM”
Díaz-Canel described the attack on Caracas as an act of terrorism and a clear violation of international law. He argued that military actions carried out by Washington represent a dangerous escalation, not only for Venezuela but for the entire region.
CALL TO RESIST FASCISM
Addressing the crowd, Díaz-Canel urged the peoples of the Americas to take a stand against fascism. He called for unity among Latin American nations and emphasized that silence, he said, would amount to complicity in the face of aggression.
