Drogba Transfer News – Chelsea have warned European clubs the layoff Didier Drogba as the Ivory Coast striker is not for sale.

– Agent Thierno Seydi said Man City Didier Drogba.
– Man City said Seydi allegations are unfounded.

The remarks by Chelsea FC officials comes after the African footballers agent Thierno Seydi, said during a radio interview that the Chelsea striker maybe on his way out of Stanford Bridge this summer before the transfer window closes.

Chelsea have been under pressure to keep their star striker after several teams have shown interest in the 32-year-old star who managed to take part in Ivory Coast’s World Cup campaign in South Africa despite of a broken elbow.

Manchester City have allegedly been interested in Drogba according to Seydi but City have said that the agents remarks were unfounded.

Press Association Sport quoted a Chelsea spokesman of saying “It is all irrelevant, Didier Drogba is not for sale.”

Drogba has been a major part of Chelsea’s storm in world football since Russian entrepreneur and oil tycoon Roman Abramovich bought the club.

Didier scored a total of 29 goals in the Premiership under manager Carlo Ancelotti and played a key role in Chelsea’s Premier League and FA Cup double.
