Two people were shot dead and several were wounded Tuesday in southeastern Turkey when a shopkeeper fired on demonstrators protesting a court ban on the country’s main Kurdish party.
The protests were a direct result of the Turkish constitutional court banning the DTP for having links to the PKK terrorist organisation.
