1 Barcelona kicked off their La Liga campaign to a perfect start after beating Racing Santander 3-0 at the El Sardinero stadium.

1.1 The Catalans started where they finished off with Messi scoring a beautiful goal after the Argentinean received the ball from Iniesta and sprinted 30 metres passing a defender and then chipping the goal keeper in just the 2nd minute.

The Catalans started where they finished off with Messi scoring a beautiful goal after the Argentinean received the ball from Iniesta and sprinted 30 metres passing a defender and then chipping the goal keeper in just the 2nd minute.

Iniesta then made it 2-0 with a very impressive goal after Santander’s Swiss goalkeeper Fabio Coltorti punched the ball from a cross which came to Iniesta who lobbed the keeper with a first time shot.

It was not all a stroll in the park for Barcelona as Victor Valdes was forced to save a penalty which would have made it 2-1 but new multi million transfer David Villa managed to score his first Barcelona goal on the 62nd minute.

Villa’s goal came after a beautiful Dani Alves cross which was headed from an awkward angel to the opposite side of the keeper.

Barcelona looks to be the team to beat this season in both the La Liga and Europe with the passing beautiful football we are all used to.
