Man Utd vs Real Madrid:UEFA Champions League winners will be certain to Old Trafford today, Preview / CL News

Manchester United and Real Madrid are facing in UEFA Champions League tonight, United close to quarter final in the clash of titans.

Manchester – When Real Madrid enters Old Trafford on Tuesday, it will be the return of Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo, who would love to score again at Old Trafford. After Madrid’s 3-1 victory in the Copa Del Rey over Barca, Madrid is the favorite.

Not so fast says Sir Alex Ferguson, Madrid peaked too soon. While Ferguson, who was in attendance at the game against Barcelona, contends that Madrid was terrific, he says that the Spanish side has already played their best game of the year.

Manchester United edged out a 1-1 draw in Madrid during the first leg, but there are fears that if Madrid scores first in Old Trafford, United will have a full plate, which will be hard to catch up to. In other words the train will have left the station.

Both teams have an attacking style and will, with little doubt, play a domination and attacking style of soccer from the start, trying to gain an advantage.
The match marks the return of Cristiano Ronaldo, who says he expects a warm welcome at Old Trafford.
Madrid has first choice keeper Casillas available but Real will in all likelihood start with Lopez. Khedira, Ozil, Ronaldo and Benzema are all fit and capable of scoring. Despite a difficult match against Barcelona last Tuesday, Real Madrid rested many of its star players on the weekend.
Phil Jones is in doubt for United for Tuesday’s match, but Tom Cleverley is expected to take up he spot in the midfield. Rio Ferdinand who was out for the Norwich match on the weekend, is expected to be back in the lineup and Jonny Evans will be taking up the defense.
