No match for Cüneyt Çakır until the end of the season!

While the Turkish Football Federation, Central Referee Board (MHK) re-determined the referee staff in the Super League, it removed 13 names, including Cüneyt Çakır, from the list.

Considering both the age limit and the complaints of the clubs, MHK has updated the referees to complete this season.

According to the statement made on the TFF website, Cüneyt Çakır, Ali Palabıyık, Abdulkadir Bitigen, Fırat Aydınus, Bahattin Şimşek, Burak Şeker, Suat Arslanboğa, Hüseyin Göçek, Mert Güzenge, Tugay Kaan Numanoğlu, Alper Ulusoy, Halis Özkahya were excluded from the Super League referee list. Yankaya will only act as a VAR referee.

In the statement of the TFF, “The Central Arbitration Board has completed the 1st stage of the restructuring of the Turkish refereeing, which it has been carrying out with great care since its appointment, and has determined the staff that will serve in the Super League and 1st League for the remainder of the season. We wish the new staff to be beneficial for Turkish football and Turkish refereeing, and present it to the public’s information.
