US Presidential hopeful Rick Perry questioned Turkey’s status in NATO, ranting the country is “being governed by what many would perceive to be Islamic terrorists.”

Washington DC / NationalTurk – Bootlicking for the support of South Carolina’s Republicans at the latest Republican debate, the Texan governor redneck Rick Perry calls for zeroing out the foreign aid the U.S. provides the NATO member.

In response to a question about whether or not Turkey should still be a part of NATO, Redneck ignorant hopeful Rick Perry ranted some consider Turkey to be ruled by “Islamic terrorists.”

According to Rick Perry Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is an Islamic terrorist

Victoria Coates, foreign policy advisor to Rick Perry, further explained the moronic Texan governor’s unfortunate twaddle, stating that some view the leaders of Turkey as Islamic terrorists due to their support of Hamas and the flotilla against Israel.

The Texan governor Rick Perry was bootlicking for the support of South Carolina’s Republican Party in a debate sponsored by Fox News, the Wall Street Journal and the South Carolina Republican Party in Myrtle Beach as all Republican presidential candidates talk after a Republican presidential candidates debate in Myrtle Beach.

Rick Perry : Turkey’s stand against Israel should make it a terrorist country

Asked if the leaders of Turkey incl. Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan have performed any actions which place them in the category of Islamic terrorists, Coates responded: What my Rick stated was that many people associate that kind of behavior with that of Islamic terrorists. I think also their support for the flotilla against Israel this fall. It’s deeply concerning, and I think it’s something any future American president needs to be aware of.”

“The murder rate of women in Turkey has raised 1,400 % since the Islamist-oriented party took over,” asked the moderator to Rick Perry and he spoke about Turkey, adding it had “threatened military action against Israel and Cyprus,” and yet it is still a member of NATO.

“Obviously, when you have a country that is being ruled by what many would perceive to be Islamic terrorists, when you start seeing that type of activity against their own citizens, then yes, not only is it time for us to have a conversation about whether or not they belong to be in NATO, but it’s time for the United States, when we look at their foreign aid, to go to zero with it”.

Rick Perry from Us citizens perspective

Rick Perry is being decribed in the USA as a wholly holy macho man. He certainly seems to be the ideal Republican candidate. He’s not very bright, he does what his corporate masters tell him to, he panders to the religious right, and he’s a mile behind the curve on gay rights. This man is too stupid, even for Republicans. He is known for his drunk speeches. He is considered a mass murderer in Texas. Many question Rick Perry’s intelligence, as he is often called a ‘ moron’ and ‘idiot’.

While Turkey’s ruling AKP( Justice and Development Party) is religion oriented and pious, to call them ”Islamists Terrorist” is way out of boundries. And coming from a puppet figure as Rick Perry it is certainly nothing to be taken seriously.

  1. @Bernard Webb Unfortunately Rick Perry is the governor of the largest state in the country and what he says is not “of no importance whatsoever.”

He is reflective of an unfortunate strain in some American political thought where any criticism of any Israeli policy by a Muslim-majority country is by definition akin to Islamic/Islamist terrorism.

More bizarre than Perry’s answer was that such an inane question was asked by the Fox news moderator.

  2. Perry is just trying to appease Amerikan jews. It’s all talk. But jews don’t trust him, because he wants to take away their power at the federal level. Perry is actually a very decent human being, but also a savvy politician, if the two can be reconciled.

  3. I hope Turks everywhere realize that Perry is one of the stupidest men in America and what he says is of no importance whatsoever. MANY Americans have a much more nuanced understanding of Turkey and its history. We just don’t get to be on TV the way dumb people do!

  4. Of course Turkey’s stand against Israel should make it a terrosist country. In the current war on terrorism, and independent foreign policy by a Muslim-majority country that opposes any Israeli policy is one of the definitions of Islamic/Islamist terrorism.
