With the publication of their tax return, the Bidens are building on a decades-old tradition of US presidents that their predecessor Donald Trump had interrupted. Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, reported annual incomes of $1.6 million. They then paid $523,371 in income tax, which corresponds to a tax rate of 31.6 percent.
