President Donald Trump stated on Sunday that he is ready to make public the results of an MRI he received during his October physical at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Returning to Washington from Florida, Trump told reporters that the scan showed “perfect” results, while questions remain about why the imaging was necessary in the first place.
Trump: I’ll Release It If You Want
Trump said he had no objection to sharing the results, stressing that he had not been informed which part of his body was examined. “It was just an MRI,” he said. “What part of the body? It wasn’t the brain because I took a cognitive test and I aced it.”
White House Silent on Purpose of MRI
Despite repeated inquiries, the White House has not explained why Trump required advanced imaging during last month’s physical. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt described the MRI as part of Trump’s routine examination and said the findings confirmed the president remains in “exceptional physical health.”
Lingering Questions Surround the Test
The administration’s lack of clarity has fueled speculation about the necessity of the MRI. While Trump insists there is nothing unusual about the procedure, officials have not specified whether the imaging was linked to a prior medical concern or part of broader testing.
