The suffering of Afgan women, the seat for thehead of women's affairs department seals the fate of the woman in afghanistan

A top prominent female official responsible for women’s affairs in Afghanistan has been shot dead by unknown attackers. The murder came only months after her predecessor was also killed in a bomb attack. It’s not too hard to tell who is responsible for this murder !

Kabul / NationalTurk – Nadia Sidiqi, the current head of the women’s affairs department in the eastern province of Laghman, was killed on her way to work while in a motorized rickshaw.

Afghan security forces are investigating the killing of the female official who is responsible for women’s affairs ( not rights, since there are none for women in Afghanistan) and have sealed off the area of the shooting, local police chief Ahmad Sherzad told international press agencies.

Sidiqi’s predecessor was Hanifa Safi, who was appointed in the seat in 2008 only to be killed by the inhumans last July when an explosive attached to her vehicle went off.

No group immediately claimed responsible for the killing, but similar assassinations have been carried out by Taliban, who actively suppressed Afghan women’s rights during their rule from 1996 to 2001.

Nadia Sidiqi and Hanifa Safi worked on cases concerning violence against women, supporting the women to overcome the violence in Afghanistan.

The assassination of Hanifa Safi was widely condemned including by the United Nations. UN will most probably condemn the assasination of Nadia Sidiqi, then another woman will try to fight crimes and violence against women in Afghanistan, only to be killed again by the same murdering filth.

In 2006, in a similar case, the regional head for Women’s Affairs in Kandahar Province was gunned down by the Taliban.
