The Italian giants who many believed will lose touch after Jose Mourinho left the side for Real Madrid have shown that they are one as a team after falling a goal behind to fierce rivals AS Roma before scoring 3 to clinch the game.

AS Roma went a goal ahead after former Liverpool left back John Riise scored the opener on the 21st minute.

Inter who stole the Seria A League title and Italian Cup title from Roma last season managed to be a nemesis once again after Macedonian Goran Pandev equalized on the 43rd, just minutes before the end of the first half.

Inter Milan then came back with two Samuel Eto’o goals on the 70th and 80th minutes to leave the field the triumphant team.

Rafael Benitez who was assigned from Liverpool to Inter Milan after the departure of Mourinho has proved to be a success at the moment but only time will show if his achievements will match his predecessors.
