Breaking News on FIFA footballer’s agent exam scandal

After the invalidation of the footballer’s agent exam yesterday, first official statements from Turkish Football Federation(TFF) were made.

TFF informed yesterday to the public, 10 day after the results of the footballer’s agent exam have been released, that the exam was invalidated due to a possible theft of the questions, before FIFA had distributed them first-hand.

First official comments on one of the hottest topics in Turkey finally were made.

Yunus Egemenoglu, an executive board member from Tff, announced in an on-air newscast on NTVSpor-Radio, one of the leading sports channels from Turkey, has spoken on the topic, indicating, that FIFA had sent out 15 questions of the exam to Turkey, this year upon request of TFF without the answer key, along with other 202 countries and that they (TFF) still expect FIFA to make an official statement on the theft and the following consequences.

Egemenoglu added, that the TFF informed FIFA about the theft and the cheating attempt, involving 7 of the candidates and inquired about the possibility of an second exam, at an earlier than the already appointed date of the next agent exam in September of 2011, what FIFA didn’t approved.

Yunus Egemenoglu has also answered a question about the fate of the candidates, who passed the exam, by declaring, that they have to wait until the next exam or that they always have a right of objection, which they can apply to arbitration board of the TFF.

An official FIFA statement on the topic is expected on short notice…
