Manchester City alleged to agree on Robinho transfer to Beşiktaş

Manchester City has reportedly accepted a £16 million deal with Turkish giants Beşiktaş for Brazilian star Robinho.

Robinho and Beşiktaş manager Schuster were known for their good relations while at Real Madrid

It was earlier reported that Robinho had also accepted to join the Istanbul side after former Real Madrid manager which Beşiktaş manager Bernd Schuster worked with while at the Santiago Bernabéu before transferring to Real Madrid.

Beşiktaş had initially failed on their bid for the Brazilian superstar and had turned their sight on fellow Manchester City forward Emmanuel Adebayor, but after the Turkish side failed to transfer the Togo International they turned back to Robinho.

Manchester City had initially wanted to use Robinho as a possible swap deal for Barcelona forward Ibrahimovic, but after negotiations failed it is alleged that the Eastland side had no other good option but to sell the Brazilian International.

It is now alleged that Robinho is only left to negotiate a contract deal before transferring to the Istanbul side after accepting to play in Turkey.

Beşiktaş had also transferred big names such as Ricardo Quaresma and Guti this summer and started their European and League campaign with style.

Manchester City is alleged to have accepted a £16 million deal but will also receive £10 million from Beşiktaş over the next four years through bonuses.

This, in total will accumulate close to the sum City paid for Robinho to bring the Brazilian International from Real Madrid.
