Prosecutors are investigating Shelby Lynn

Shelby Lynn made the first allegations against Till Lindemann after attending a Rammstein concert at the end of May. She claimed to have woken up with bruises after an after-show party in Vilnius and not being able to remember anything that happened. As the “Bild” newspaper now reports, it is now being examined whether the 25-year-old made a false statement. The public prosecutor’s office is investigating Shelby Lynn – and has been for two months.

“The investigation was initiated in July 2023 after receipt of the statement from the Rammstein frontman’s lawyer (meaning Lindemann, editor’s note),” said a spokesman for the district public prosecutor’s office in Vilnius to “Bild”. However, further details are not known. “In order not to hinder the ongoing investigation, no more detailed information will be disclosed.”

Investigations against Till Lindemann stopped

In August, the public prosecutor’s office in Berlin stopped all investigations against Till Lindemann. The investigation began in June after several women, some anonymously, made allegations of sexual violence against the singer in various media. However, there was no evidence sufficient for an indictment, it was said in August.

Regarding the case of Shelby Lynn, the public prosecutor’s office said at the time that after evaluating the documents there had been “no concrete, actual evidence of sexual offenses by the accused.” The origin of a bruise cannot be specifically assigned.

The musician himself had always protested his innocence through his lawyers. Only when the public prosecutor officially closed the investigation did he speak out on Instagram. “I would like to thank everyone who waited impartially for the end of the investigation,” he wrote to his fans at the end of August.
