Cuban President Raul Castro met with Colombian Foreign Minister Maria Angela Holguin.
During the meeting, the two officials reviewed the positive state of bilateral relations, and discussed other regional and international issues.
Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez also attended the meeting. He officially welcomed his Colombian peer on Wednesday morning.
The two foreign ministers committed to use the potentialities of bilateral relations in diverse sectors.
According to Rodriguez, ties between Havana and Bogota benefit from “deep, historic and cultural affinities.”
On the other hand, Holguin thanked Cuban authorities for the invitation to visit the island, a stay that she described as the continuity of previous high-level exchanges.
