Turkish FM urge Iran to allow UN inspectors

Turkey is urging Iran to offer assurances that it won’t seek nuclear weapons, and says all countries have the right to the peaceful use of nuclear energy.

Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu’s remarks Thursday came before talks between Iran and world powers in Istanbul.

He spoke during a news conference with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, who urged Iran to allow inspection of its nuclear sites.
