5.1 earthquake in central region of Baja California Sur

The inhabitants of Baja California Sur were surprised by an earthquake this Saturday morning, this had a magnitude of 5.1 on the Richter scale; this happened to the northwest of the city of Santa Rosalía of that state.

The National Seismological Service released this information through its account on the social network Twitter, where it was specified that the telluric movement took place at 11:08 am 69 kilometers northwest of Santa Rosalía, had a depth of 10 kilometres; No damage has been reported so far.
Users commented that the earthquake was felt in other states near the epicenter such as Hermosillo and Sonora. Civil Protection authorities have asked the inhabitants of Santa Rosalía to report any type of anomaly to 911.
