Big raise in diesel in Turkey!
It is expected that the liter price of diesel will increase by 1 lira and 37 cents tonight.
The increase in oil prices and the dollar exchange rate brings price hikes in fuel oil.
According to industry sources, the liter price of diesel will increase by 1 lira and 37 cents, effective from midnight tonight.
No price change is expected for gasoline.
With tonight’s hike, the liter price of diesel will increase to 23.60 TL in Istanbul, and to 23.71 TL in Ankara and İzmir.
The liter price of gasoline is 19.78 TL in Istanbul, 19.88 TL in Ankara and 19.90 TL in İzmir.
267 percent increase in diesel in a year!
The liter price of diesel was 6.43 TL a year ago, and 11.43 TL at the beginning of the year. With tonight’s hike, the rate of increase in diesel fuel will be 267 percent in the last year and 106.5 percent since the beginning of the year.
The liter price of gasoline was 7.07 TL a year ago and 12.29 TL at the beginning of the year. The rate of increase in gasoline has been 180 percent in the last year and 61 percent since the beginning of the year.
