Leonardo Da Vinci : Days in Rome

A first time in the world.. , World Travel Service (WTS), has announced organizing a big touring event for art, culture and history lovers in the name of Leonardo da Vinci’s Days in Rome.

WTS tours executives have announced, the ‘Leonardo da Vinci, days in Rome’ tour event they organize between 7-11 November, will be the first part of a 4 part series. The following three parts of the major event will be introduced in Turkey and in the world at the same date.

What does the ‘Leonardo Da Vinci Days in Rome’ tour offer ?

This executive Rome tour offer the participants to witness sequences of Leonardo da Vinci’s days in Rome during the period 1513-1516, when he resided in Rome and see the artisan’s most interesting works along with the most significant cultural highlights of Rome.
The exclusive exploring tours will let the participants see a series of impressive works of art and science by da Vinci.

At Il Genio di Leonardo Museum the wooden models, which reflect the genius of Leonardo da Vinci, at Galleria Borghese some of the earliest and most impressive sculptures and paintings of the artisan, including ‘Leda and the swan’ are one of the many highlights of the tour. And at the painting gallery at Vatican Museum, Pinacoteca Vaticano, Leonardo’s unfinished painting of St. Jerome (Hieronymus)will be analyzed iconographically.

The genius of Leonardo da Vinci to be witnessed in the tour

The Port of Civitavecchia Leonardo da Vinci visited and resided in 1515 with the purpose of practising the illustrations for buildings and archeological material on the site and the Pontine Marches, where Leonardo da Vinci’s and Michelangelo’s combined brilliance can be seen within the idea of draining the swamp around Lazio. Guided by an art historian, the tour will help the participants to relive the mystery of Leonardo da Vinci and enlighten them on many things.
