3-year-old Elif Perinçek, who was under the wreckage, was taken out of the wreckage with applause and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Baby Elif became the 106th person injured under the wreckage.

Mother Seher Dereli Perinçek and four of her children, twin sisters Ezel and Elzem Perinçek (10), Umut Perinçek (7) and Elif Perinçek (3), who were left in the wreckage of Doğanlar Apartment, were removed from the wreckage one day after the earthquake. In the Perinçek family, where Umut Perinçek passed away, the treatments of Seher Dereli Perinçek and Ezel and Elzem Perinçek continued.
