Uefa General Secratary Gianni Infantino stated that Uefa relies on Turkish Football Federation’s (TFF) judgement on recent match fixing case Turkish football passes through and hinted the decision will be taken by TFF anf only by TFF. ‘ After TFF’s decision we will evaluate it, our [UEFA’s] zero tolerance policy towards match-fixing will be implemented ‘ Infantino continued.

Infantino said that UEFA will send an invitation letter to all 53 members of European Football Association regarding the EURO 2020’s. ” We will be expecting the countries make their official applications for hosting the EURO 2020 until this May ” he stated. ” If only one country appeals than it will be contracted to host the championship, if there will be many candidate countries then there will be an 18 months long race for it” the secretary added.
