Vaccination card no longer required to enter Greece

Since May 1st, proof of vaccination no longer has to be presented when entering Greece. This also eliminates the need for proof of an antigen test or a certificate of recovery.

Since May 1st, people in Greece no longer have to show proof of vaccination when visiting bars, shops and museums. In addition, according to Deutsche Welle, the Ministry of Health has announced that the obligation to provide proof of a vaccination certificate, a negative test or a certificate of recovery will no longer apply upon entry. The mask requirement indoors, on the other hand, is only to be lifted from June 1st. This does not apply to facilities such as hospitals and nursing homes.

The lifting of the measures is to be put to the test on September 1st. For holidaymakers in Greece, it has already been decreed that they no longer have to register on a government website before entering the country. The submission of proof of vaccination or current rapid and PCR tests is now also no longer necessary.
