2026 UEFA Europa League Final will be played on Wednesday, May 22, 2026, at 21:00 local time at Beşiktaş Park (Tüpraş Stadium) in Istanbul, Türkiye.
The planning for the 2025-26 UEFA Europa League final, the 55th season of Europe’s most prestigious club football competition organized by UEFA and the 17th season since its renaming from the UEFA Cup, is almost complete. “UEFA 2026 Istanbul awaits you” advertisements have begun.
UEFA Establishes Satellite Office in Istanbul
Following the UEFA Executive Committee’s selection of Beşiktaş Park in Istanbul on May 22, 2024, preparations for the 2026 UEFA Europa League final have begun. To facilitate coordination, UEFA established a dedicated satellite office in Istanbul in April 2025, strengthening cooperation with the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) and local authorities for the logistical and operational aspects of the event.
This office provides support for joint projects, rapid communication, and the smooth implementation of UEFA’s best practices. It also leverages Türkiye’s experience hosting previous major UEFA events, such as the 2019 UEFA Super Cup, at the same stadium. UEFA expects UEFA 2026 İstanbul final will be one of the best organization.
Ticket prices to start at €40
The 2026 UEFA Europa League final, to be played at Beşiktaş Park in Istanbul, is expected to see the stadium, with its capacity of approximately 40,000 spectators, fully booked. UEFA’s ticket allocation for the final, following established patterns in recent years, will provide each finalist club with approximately 15,000 tickets to be distributed to fans, while the remaining seats (approximately 10,000) will be reserved for neutral fans, UEFA stakeholders, and hospitality packages.
Public ticket sales will begin in March or April 2026 exclusively through the UEFA.com portal, and a lottery system will be used to fairly distribute the limited inventory in the face of high demand. Prices for general admission tickets are expected to range from a minimum of €40 to €240 for premium categories.
The final will provide a significant economic boost to Istanbul thanks to the influx of international visitors, hotel bookings, and local spending on food, beverages, and transportation.
