Ex-soccer player Bastian Schweinsteiger and ex-tennis ace Ana Ivanović have become parents for the third time. The two once successful sports stars are now announcing this with a short clip on Instagram that inspires their followers.
The black-and-white video shows how first Schweinsteiger’s, then Ivanović’s and then the hands of the couple’s older sons open and finally a baby’s hand appears in the picture. The current mother of three writes: “Hello world! Our hearts are full of love.”
Numerous users congratulate the two under the post. Many send hearts or emojis with heart eyes, expressing their joy at the post.
No details on the children
In mid-February, Ivanović and Schweinsteiger made it public that they would become parents again. “Now we’re officially outnumbered,” they wrote about a photo in which they touched the 35-year-old’s baby bump. The couple already have two sons. The older one was born in March 2018, the younger one in August 2019. Schweinsteiger and Ivanović keep to themselves whether they have had a daughter or another son. Also, as far as the names of their children are concerned, they have kept a low profile ever since.
Schweinsteiger and Ivanovic have been married since 2016. In the same year, the tennis player announced the end of her career. In 2008 she won the French Open and was world number one for twelve weeks. The footballer ended his career in 2019 with the Chicago Fire club. Previously he played 17 years at FC Bayern Munich and 2 years at Manchester United. In 2014 he became world champion with the German national team, after which he was the captain of the team for two years. Today, the 38-year-old Schweinsteiger can often be seen as an expert in football broadcasts on TV.
