Boris Becker’s daughter Anna Ermakova wishes her father would get out of prison earlier. The three-time Wimbledon winner was sentenced to two and a half years in prison by a London court at the end of April for delaying bankruptcy. Now one of his four children is talking about the situation.

Her father’s conviction was “a shock” for Ermakova, she told the magazine “Bunte Quarterly”. She also stated, “I hope my father gets out of prison sooner.” And the 22-year-old has one more hope when it comes to her dad’s jail time, namely “that he feels safe and doesn’t give up”. She clarifies: “He has the support of his family and his fans.”

Becker is in a relationship with political risk analyst Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro. She has visited him several times in prison. At the end of June, his two older sons Noah and Elias from Becker’s marriage to Barbara Becker were present for the first time as visitors to British Huntercombe prison. After a few weeks in London’s Wandsworth prison, Becker was transferred there at the end of May.

“I’m not necessarily good, but I enjoy it”

Has Ermakova visited her father yet? Not clear. She is the daughter of Becker and model Angela Ermakova, with whom the former professional athlete had an affair. Anna Ermakova dreams of becoming an actress. But not before she has completed her art history studies. She also models, following in her mother’s footsteps.

She also inherited a passion from her father – more or less: playing tennis. “My mom wanted me to start. I went to tennis camps over the summer. I’m not particularly good, but I enjoy playing outside with my friends.”

In addition to 28-year-old Noah, 22-year-old Elias and 22-year-old Anna, Becker also has another son: the tennis legend got twelve-year-old Amadeus with ex-wife Lilly Becker.
