The move against Radical Islamist in Germany also accompanied a declaration from German Interior Minister Hans-Peter Friedrich, stating Germany has banned one particular network known as ‘ Millatu Ibrahim.’.

‘ The radical Islamist group known as Millatu Ibrahim works against Germany’s constitutional order, the Interior Minister told reporters.

Among the homes targeted was that of Salafi preacher Ibrahim Abu Nagie, who is associated with a campaign to distribute free copies of the Qur’an in the country.

At the beginning of May, German authorities opened an investigation against 44 members of the Islamic Salafi community and 37 others after violent clashes with police in the western town of Solingen.

He added that two other Salafi groups have been placed under investigation in the hopes of finding enough evidence to be able to ban them as well.

The Salafis have raised concern with their drive to convert non-Muslims, a campaign that has involved handing out 25 million copies of the Quran in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Authorities project there are about 2,500 Salafis in Germany, while other sources Salafis are believed to number about 4,000 in Germany, wheras the total Muslim population is some four million. They adopted an austere form of Sunni Islam, but German officials accuse them of also condoning violence against German state institutions, which are founded on Cristian basis.

Der Spiegel newspaper recently reported that German police launches major swoops on Salafi Muslims in several states this week on claims of that Salafis promote extremism in the country.

Germans have grown hostile to the Muslim presence recently, with a heated debate on the endless Muslim immigration into the country following the events of the so-called Arab Spring. Turkey also suffers from Arab immigration from the countries where governments changed or are about to be changed.

Germans are less tolerant towards Muslims : Do the muslims know why ?

A recent poll by the Munster University reveals that Germans view Muslims more negatively than their European neighbors.

Germany’s daily Der Spiegel had warned last August that Germany is becoming intolerant towards its Muslim minority. But Germany approaches this kind of intolerance towards foreigners extremely cautiously since Second World War Era out of obvious reasons.

Radical Islam opposes German Constitutional Order

‘ The radical Islamist organizations acts in opposition to the idea of constitutional order and multicultural understanding.’ is the anchor of the idea of why Germany tries to get rid of extremist ideologies.

Salafis came under scrutiny in Germany following a campaign to hand out free copies of the Noble Qur’an to educate Germans about Qur’an.

The campaign has sparked fury from German politicians, who accused Salafis of seeking to spread radicalization in the country.
