Iron Maiden starts world tour with Zagreb Concert
Yesterday IRON MAIDEN played their first concert since October 15, 2019 in Zagreb.
A lot has happened since then: Not only was the extension of the “Legacy Of The Beast” tour postponed twice, but with “Senjutsu” a new album was released, which claims its place in the set list and is also reflected in the stage design.

The day before, former singer Paul Di’Anno also gave a concert in Zagreb – the first in seven years. He is currently in Zagreb preparing for his knee surgery. He also attended the IRON MAIDEN tour opener and chatted with Steve Harris.
On this year’s tour, the British metal legends are coming to Cologne, Berlin, Stuttgart, Bremen and Frankfurt am Main in July, before continuing to South America at the end of August.
At exactly 9 pm, members of Iron Maiden took the stage, which caused enthusiastic applause and loud whistling of the audience.
Iron Maiden Zagreb Review
The legendary heavy metal band Iron Maiden sold out the Zagreb Arena and gave a spectacular concert to the fans. The band, which many say is synonymous with heavy metal, opened its “Legacy Of The Beast” tour with a performance in Zagreb.
Fans dressed in mostly black T-shirts with the inscription ‘Iron Maiden’ almost filled the Arena even before the start of the performance of ‘Maiden’, as they like to call them, to listen to the front band of the British band, German Gothic metal band, Lord Of The Lost.
The tour of the world-famous band, founded back in 1975, was scheduled for 2020, but was postponed twice due to a pandemic. Faithful fans got up five minutes before the start of the concert eagerly awaiting the band’s appearance on stage. And it was a scene to remember – the entire Zagreb Arena is getting dark, blue spotlights are appearing, and only the shouts of the audience can be heard. At exactly 9 pm, members of Iron Maiden took the stage, which caused an enthusiastic applause and loud whistling of the excited audience.
Their “Hello, Zagreb” caused loud shouts from fans, and a real eruption of enthusiasm was caused by numerous hits, but the greatest excitement was caused by the hit “Fear of the Dark” which the audience sang in one voice.
It doesn’t matter where you are from, what country you are from, what religion you are, it hurts us k ****, you are the brothers of Iron Maiden, said ‘Maiden’, causing loud reactions from the audience, and during the last song a plane appeared on stage .
The mega-popular band ended the concert by greeting the audience and throwing their picks and sticks. Undoubtedly and expected for one of the most popular heavy metal bands ever, Iron Maiden has made another fantastic spectacle.
