
Fenerbahce and Turkey national footballer Emre Belozoglu has been released from police custody after he testified at Istanbul Police Department and in court as a suspect in the ongoing match fix probe.
The Fenerbahce captain, Emre Belozoglu was released after hourlong interrogations, after his testimony was completed. He talked the media after his release, ” i am exhausted and unhappy, i thank the police officials ”
Emre Belozoglu told the turkish sports media just the other day, that it is currently very difficult for turkish national players to focus on the Euro 2012 Qualifiers, where Turkey will face Kazakhstan and Austria respectively, during the match fixing allegations still one of the hottest topics in Turkey.
