Sharon Stone has “lost nine children to miscarriages,” as she wrote in a lengthy comment on an Instagram post by US magazine “People.” In her autobiography “The Beauty of Living Twice”, the 64-year-old already reported on traumatic experiences in her life, including several miscarriages.
However, she did not name a number in the book, which was published in 2021.
In the “People” post, dancer Peta Murgatroyd reports on her third miscarriage. She was ashamed of it, the woman is quoted as saying. Apparently a reason for Sharon Stone to comment on this post.
“We women don’t have a forum to talk about the impact of this loss,” the “Basic Instinct” star wrote, explaining, “I’ve lost nine children to miscarriages. It’s no small thing, physically or emotionally, and yet it will makes us feel like we have to face it alone and in silence, feeling like we’ve failed.”
