Good news from the currywurst man: Chris Töpperwien is married. In the USA, the TV emigrant and his girlfriend Nicole said yes. Even the family pug has made himself chic.
He became known through “Goodbye Germany”, but now Chris Töpperwien is also a real reality TV star. He was also in the jungle camp. Now the next milestone is in his CV: The currywurst man has married. He publishes photos of himself and his bride Nicole on his Instagram profile.

The 48-year-old restaurateur shares the happy news with his approximately 150,000 followers via his official Instagram account. For a series of pictures that shows the couple and even the family dog finely dressed up, he writes to his partner and now wife Nicole: “You are the person I am destined to spend the rest of my life with. Nicole Katharina, me love you!”
The small gallery shows Töpperwien in a blue suit and Nicole in a white dress. However, she is not wearing a classic wedding dress, but a rather summery dress. After all, the couple only got married in a civil registry office and not in a church. One of the photos shows the couple’s simple wedding rings.
“We met in front of a kiosk”
The couple have been together since August 2021. The emigrant told the “Express” at the time: “We met in my village in front of a kiosk. Nowadays it really works without Tinder or social media platforms.”
The extrovert entrepreneur emigrated to the USA around ten years ago. He started his TV career on the VOX show “Goodbye Germany! The Emigrants”. This was followed by an appearance in the RTL production “Das Sommerhaus der Stars: Kampf der Celebrity Couples”, then with his ex-wife Magdalèna Kalley. In 2019 he took part in the successful format “I’m a Star – Get Me Out of Here!”, where he took sixth place.
