Meanwhile, the German long-distance bus platform Flixbus has announced that it will be offering trips to the Ukrainian capital again.

“The safety of our passengers and drivers is our top priority,” said regional manager Michal Lehmann on Friday. “We have been waiting for the right time to resume some of our routes, particularly to the Ukrainian capital.” Warsaw-Kyiv and Prague-Kyiv services will resume on Monday. A new route from Budapest to Kyiv is scheduled to go into operation on April 28.
