When Tekinoktay, who is also a former technical director of Murat Topçu, was asked about his next goal, Tekinoktay said, “My next goal is to buy a team in Europe and write a fairy tale story in the Champions League.” Tekinoktay said he had previously attempted such a thing, but kept the name of the team secret.

Murat Topçu: Mr. Hurser Tekinoktay, can you tell us about yourself? Who is Hurser Tekinoktay?

Hürser Tekinoktay: If you look at it from a sporting perspective, you can say that he is a football coach who was raised in Beşiktaş Youth Academy… He is a Beşiktaş fan who has many years of experience in the field of Tourism outside of sports…

Murat Topçu: You were a candidate for the chairmanship of Beşiktaş in the last two elections. Are you considering running in the elections in May?

Hürser Tekinoktay: We entered two elections with my valuable friends in 5 months, one ordinary and one extraordinary, but we could not win.

We tried to express to some people that day that we could experience an unpleasant, worrying and unhappy environment for everyone, both culturally, sportively and as a Beşiktaş fan. I would say ‘But I guess we couldn’t explain it’, but some probably didn’t want to understand what we wanted to say.

The point we have reached now is the most critical election in Beşiktaş history.

Even if there is a 50% risk of losing, it is an election period in which all Beşiktaş fans must be very careful. If this place is not evaluated well, being a tool for this would be the greatest harm that can be done to Beşiktaş. At least our experience shows this.

For this reason, we made a call for the valuable Beşiktaş fans who have always taken responsibility in the community, have experience and are reliable, to come together and enter with a single list in the first days of 2022. As a result, it is obvious that no Beşiktaş fan is happy with the situation, and it is our duty to support such a formation.

Most importantly, if this community spends another term with the current president, I am afraid that many things will happen that will be impossible to compensate for, both materially and spiritually.

Murat Topçu: How do you think Beşiktaş can be successful? Beşiktaş Club’s debts are very high. How can the financial table be improved? And what dou you think Champions League?

Hurser Tekinoktay: Look, this is a sports club where all income and expenses are mostly based on football. Football has its own economy. There is production. There is marketing, there is a success algorithm. Although it seems simple from the outside, it is not possible to get a positive result from this for those who do not know the dynamics of football.

This is exactly the point we have reached.
The economics and economy of football itself are also different…

Most importantly, as in every sector, it is an area of ​​expertise where added value must be created.
Someone without such experience cannot manage a football club.

If he manages, you will turn from a debt-free club with Süleyman Seba who has these criteria to a club that has reached a debt of 5 quadrillion in 22 years with Serdar Bilgili, Yıldırım Demirören, Fikret Orman and Ahmet Nur Çebi who do not have any of these criteria.

On top of that, the system will go bankrupt with iron and steel workers, Ytong workers, builders, contractors and businessmen like these.

All projects and resources will be wasted. Moreover, you will not even have your bond, which is your equity capital that should be in Futbol AŞ…

As a result, football has an industrial structure with its own production, cost and efficiency algorithms.
If you establish a football business model that has this, the financial picture will improve in a very short time and it will move to great profitability… Indeed, this success rate is over 70% in all of Europe. However, especially in clubs with a historical and sociological structure like ours, this rate goes up to 90%.

“You have to increase exports in football”

Murat Topçu: Who do you think should manage Beşiktaş?

Hurser Tekinoktay: First of all, merit, transparency, honesty, trust in words should be the first principle to manage both football and Beşiktaş. People who have the characteristics I mentioned above can stabilize sports success and improve the economic structure in a short time. These should be the reason for preference.

Murat Topçu: What are your goals for the next period?

Hürser Tekinoktay: I have a basic instinct that definitely wants to compete in the Champions League
in football 🙂 I could not return to my coaching career that I had paused because of the famous Fulya Case…
If I had continued, I was sure that I would have competed in that league as a coach.

I would have loved to do this as the president of Beşiktaş. It did not happen.

Goal: Champions League

My main goal right now is to buy a club abroad that our company was interested in in 2019 (name should be kept secret for now). At that time, our political structure as a country was a bit inconvenient, they did not accept to give it to us. But hopefully we can achieve this from now on or we can achieve this with a foreign company structure and write a fairy tale story. I can say that this is my goal in football from now on.

When we look at it in general, Beşiktaş president Ahmet Nur Çebi won the Super Cup as well as 2 cups last season. Will we say he was successful because he brought 3 cups to Beşiktaş?

Unfortunately, Çebi did not win these successes that you mentioned, Beşiktaş did. Just like the successes we have won for years…

Especially Beşiktaş’s desire to win the basic codes, its own resources and the team consisting of Sergen Yalçın and his friends and football players, who are the representatives of these, won this on their own…

You know, they say what would have happened if the president had not paid the salaries on time, as Ahmet Nur Çebi made his spokesmen say…

It is not like that, the president paid the salaries with the loan restructuring he made by transferring our income from Ziraat Bank and with the money he received from TFF. Beşiktaş paid the money.

From now on, Beşiktaş will pay the money they put into an interest swamp and made us debtors. We will pay it…

If Cebi is going to pay the difference from his own pocket, which would have been the difference when he paid off the debt he took out with 2.6 billion, then there is no problem…

But I don’t think he can pay it either. We are willing for him to pay even half of it. We need to ask him and those who voted for him, if he has the money, how much of the damage he caused us will he put back into the coffers?

Murat Topçu: What message would you like to give to the big Beşiktaş fans from here?

Hürser Tekinoktay: No one is richer than Beşiktaş. No one is stronger than Beşiktaş. Go to the stadium and support Beşiktaş… Especially the young ones, buy your own tickets, be free and independent…
