At least 10 people have been killed in a series of knife attacks in rural Saskatchewan, Canada. 15 injured were also taken to hospitals for treatment, the police said at a press conference.

“We have 13 active crime scenes that we’re investigating,” said Officer Rhonda Blackmore. “So at some of these crime scenes, there may not have been a deceased person, but instead there were injured people who weren’t deceased.” However, further injuries cannot be ruled out.

Police are also searching in neighboring provinces

Canadian Minister of Public Safety Marco Mendicino said Saskatchewan Police are using all available resources to search for the two suspects and will keep the public informed of further developments. “At this time, we have no evidence that they traveled to any other province,” Blackmore said of the suspects.
