The Amanda Knox trial that whole world is watching and listening is over. No pen is broken, as Perugia appeal court overturns charges of Meredith Kercher s murder on Amanda Knox and her ex Italian lover Raffaele Sollecito.

Its finally over and Amanda Knox is a 24 years old free woman, as Italian court clears her and her former Italian boyfriend of British student Meredith Kerchers brutal murder in 2007.

Amanda Knox Verdict: 4 years of trial ended in acquittance of Amanda Knox

Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito have been acquitted of the murder of UK student Meredith Kercher following a successful appeal in Perugia, Italy, after the pair had spent nearly four years in Italian jail since they were convicted of killing the 21-year-old, from Coulsdon, south London, in 2007. The four year odyssey Amanda Knox has endured since her roommate Meredith Kercher was brutally murdered in an alleged “drug fueled sex game”  has ended.

Although Amanda Knox was convicted along with her year old Italian boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito and sentenced to 26 years in prison in 2009, an appeals jury assisted by two judges in Perugia, Italy has cleared Amanda Knox of the murder charges.

The news leave the third person, Ivory Coast resident Rudy Guede, a black man, who was convicted separately as the sole murder convict.

England and American medias have been clearly at a war of words all along the 4 year long Amanda Knox trial period, and England blames Italian courts incompetence, while the American side states Italian court had done the right thing. It is yet to know what the media from Ivory Coast has to say, if anything..

Amanda Knox Trial Verdict : The Aftermath

Amanda Knox has lived under continuous media scrutiny since her arrest and eventual conviction for the killing of Meredith Kercher in November 2007 and the news channel race with eachother to be the first to make an interview with the current most famous woman in the world. Amanda Knox has survived the 4 year period in Italy and she has to endure now a barrage of interest from media and film producers. If she can survive it, she surely will be a millionaire at the of all this. Meanwhile Amanda and her family flew out of Fiumicino Airport in Rome as they started her journey back to Seattle.

Raffaelle Sollecito, Knox’s Italian former boyfriend, largely escaped the media frenzy surrounding the case, his first instinct was to hug his father in the court room in Perugia.

Meanwhile British media is pounding Italy and Italian judicial system with fierce criticism, the city of Perugia, known to be university town, is also hit by the criticism.
