Lindsay Lohan (24), appeared in front of a judge before being handcuffed and led away to start her 90-day sentence.

Lohan is being locked up for violating probation after drink-driving but she may be free in just 23 days because of prison overcrowding.

When Lohan arrived at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, Calif., she was crying.

Lohan will spend about 22 hours a day alone in her cell, which is right next to the one being occupied by “Pretty Wild” star Alexis Neiers, who was accused of being part of the “Burglar Bunch” gang of celebrity-robbing bandits that had preyed on stars, including Lohan.
