Murder Inquiry after three bodies found in Oswestry

3 found dead in OswestryA murder investigation has been started after the bodies of a man, his wife and his teenage daughter were found in Oswestry, Shrophsire, today.

The two bodies found dead in the Semi detached home were of Susan McFall, 55, and her daughter Francesca, 18 who were locals of the town.

Approximately 5 hours later another body was found nearby industrial unit, this time of a man thought to be the husband and father of the the two women.

All three were murdered but police are not giving any more detail.

The man was found in a business unit at the back of the premises, three miles from the family home, where it is believed he kept his floral stock for his business.

It prompted West Mercia Police, who had 40 officers working on the case, to announce they were no longer looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths.

Detective Inspector Mick Homden said: “I can confirm officers discovered the body of a man at a location in the Oswestry area shortly after 9.30am.

“As a result, the police at this moment in time, are not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths.”
Mr McFall ran a business selling florist supplies, while his daughter was studying for her A-levels at Oswestry School.

Francesca, known as Frankie, had previously been head girl at the Marches School and Technology College in Oswestry.

Writing on her Facebook social networking page shortly before 9pm last night, she said was “buzzing” with excitement about attending a ball.

Neighbour Eirwen Ashton, 88,  said: “It’s a terrible tragedy, they were good neighbours and good people.

“I only saw the daughter Francesca last week coming down the driveway, she looked happy.”
