Wesley Sneijder Transfer:Liverpool seriously rule out about Dutchman Manchester United and Galatasaray! / EPL News

United and Turkish giants Galatasaray went forward in the transfer of Wesley Sneijder, but Liverpool finished  this transfer to London  at the last minute.

Wesley Sneijder is stalling on completing a proposed move to Galatasaray in the hope that Liverpool make a bid for him.

The Turkish outfit have had an £8.2million deal accepted by Inter Milan for the 28-year-old Dutch international but he is refusing to make a decision following speculation that Liverpool are ready to match the asking price. However, the player’s astronomical wages would prevent any such deal from happening.

Commenting on his situation, Sneijder said: “It is a difficult decision to make. There are still two weeks until the end of the window and I still have time.

“I’m fine and I’m calm. I do not need to decide on Monday.”

We’ve seen numerous reports linking us with the Dutchman but according to club insiders there has been no formal contact.

A source said: “It would appear that he wants a move to Liverpool but he also wanted a move to Arsenal and Chelsea.

“He would have to dramatically reduce his salary to be considered.

“Would Brendan Rodgers like him? Absolutely. But there will be little money available if he manages to bring in Tom Ince.

“There have been no formal talks with the player or his representatives.”

While a deal appears to be to be coming to fruition, Liverpool has made a late bid and hopes to play spoiler to the Turkish clubs plans.
