An accident on Sunday’s Moto2 race in Catalunya, Spain has caused great shock in the stands and on TV after Spaniard, Carmelo Morales crashed on the last lap with Kenny Noyes.

The crash occurred on the last lap when Carmelo Morales who raced for Tenerife 40 Pons was trying to regain seventh spot from Spanish born American Kenny Noyes.
Morales who approached the American’s rear wheel looked to make a calculation error and while travelling at speeds excessive of 130 Mph, clipped the rear wheel of Noyes superbike.
The Spanish superbike racer then lost his balance and slid on the concrete floor while his bike span with the impact of hitting the floor.
The bike then, while spinning violently hit the back of Morales and then crashed into the barriers just in front of the fans in the last straight of the track.
A photographer who was just behind the barriers, avoided debris which was cause by the crash by hiding behind a concrete wall while no one was reported injured in the stands.
The reaction of the Tenerife 40 Pons team on cameras showed the seriousness of the accident as the 31-year-olds body was flung by the accident like a toy.
However miraculously Morales, got away from the accident with only bruises and no serious injury reported the hospital officials in which he was taken too.
After the accident Morales who spoke to reporters said “I confused a bit, I miscalculated the distance and I have given. I’ve fallen and I began to tumble and I was afraid of hitting the wall.
“I have noticed a sharp blow, but I was told it was the bike. I kept spinning, and then I noticed that I could hardly breathe a little, but did not notice anything strange in my body.
” It has been a difficult weekend because I would have missed a couple of bad practice to be competitive. I wanted to get a little more, of finish within the top five. ”
One fan who spoke to NationalTurk said “I could not believe it… it happened just in front of me
“I thought he was going to die, the speed, and the way he suddenly stopped, I thought he must be badly injured,”
