Chelsea and Porto are the close to deal abot Hulk.
Hulk has agreed Chelsea’s preliminary terms and the fee is close to being agreed.
The Brazilian international winger will then complete his Chelsea medical early next week before Chelsea officials squeeze the official signing through, right before the transfer window closes on August 31st.
It has been the biggest transfer saga of the summer and Chelsea have refused to be held ransom. But since re-igniting their pursuit of the 26-year-old after he confirmed he wanted to leave Porto, Chelsea have stepped up their game and are now close to landing their number one target.
Hulk has been quoted recently saying he would like to play in the Premier League and it has been no secret that Chelsea is his first choice. Hulk has been impressed with the Stamford Bridge outfit since being crowned European Champions and stating their ambition after the squad re-building this summer.
Porto have been holding out for plus £40 million for their prize asset but Chelsea have provided stubborn resistance and it is said that the two clubs have now come to a compromise that they are both happy with.
Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo wants to use Hulk’s versatility as he looks to add to his options of strikers, which is looking rather thin right now. Hulk ultimately operates on the right wing, but can play anywhere across the front line and will provide another option as centre forward.
Both clubs will now want to complete the deal as soon as possible, with the Premier League campaign already kicking off and the 31st of this month is fast approaching.

these last two games chelsea have played have proved that hulk will be a needed addition. starting bertrand as a winger will not fly. torres as ST. hazard as LW. Mata playing behind torres and hulk on the right will free torres up to have a sensational season as everyone has expected. it will be hard for defenses to double both sides of the pitch and thats where torres will get his opportunities. if this deal is completed, chelsea will compete for premier crown
