David Beckham has downplayed the chances for himself playing for an English club if he returns from MLS to European football.

Los Angeles / NationalTurk – David Beckham helped LA Galaxy to the MLS title for the first time since 2005, thus fulfilling his mission and ending the negative comments on his declining performance. The former Manchester United captain’s contract with Los Angeles Galaxy runs out at the end of December. The current questions for Becham are, will he return to European Football scene and if yes, where will be his next and most probably final stop ?

According to allsportsnews.us David Beckham, recently linked with Paris St Germain, is now weighing up his options and told BBC Radio he has received interest from two ‘big European clubs’. David Beckham says he will consult his large family and friends before deciding which club he will join when his LA Galaxy contract expires at the end of 2011.

‘I played for the biggest club in England (Manchester United) and couldn’t see myself playing in another English jersey,’the midfielder says, who is a real star among footballers with his lifestyle, clothes and his wife Victoria and children.

‘I’ve got options, which is amazing at my age,’ he added. ‘A couple of big European clubs are after me’ Beckham acknowledged.

David Beckham has not ruled out staying at LA Galaxy in the United States, where he has played since 2007. Beckham has always stated he would not play for another English club after leaving Manchester United in 2003 to join Real Madrid. David Beckham has been widely tipped to link up with his former Milan manager, Leonardo, at Paris St Germain, although the former England captain said he is yet to begin talks with the Ligue 1 club but he is open to Paris St Germain move

Among his suitors is also Turkish Giants Besiktas Istanbul, a sports club who recruits worlwide popular names in football and basketball. Deron Williams, Allen Iverson, Guti Hernandez, Ricardo Querasma are few names Besiktas has recruited recently.

Besiktas chairman Yildirim Demiroren has good ties with footballer agent Jorge Mendes, who is a partner David Beckham’s representative agency Creative Artist America.
