‘ The downed Turkish jet was on a peaceful mission to test renewed radar systems in the area,’ Erdoğan stated and added ‘ Turkey’s decision to act with common sense in the rise of this Syria-Turkey crysis should not be understood as a state of weakness. We would not tolerate it.’

Syrian airforce has violated Turkish airspace 5 times in 2012

Syrian helicopters have violated Turkey’s airspace five times since January 2012, but were peacefully warned to leave Turkish border.

Syrian government did not represent the ‘ brotherly ‘ people of Syria, Erdoğan also stressed, pointing out the oppressive regime of Hafez al-Assad, the father of current Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. Turkey had hoped Bashar al-Assad would enact reforms to democratize Syria, but the hopes were in vain, he terrorizes his own people and attempts to do so with its friendly neighbours, Erdoğan mentioned.

  1. Israel is trying to myterise this implying new technology which do not use radar to detect therefore do not warn target well if true Israel better not be too confident if they send their planes to Syria in future

  2. If Syria knowingly downed the Turkish plane, even if it was armed, I would consider that to be defying Turkey to retaliate . If this is not the case Syria should explain that they accidentally downed the Turkish plane and certainlly would not have knowinglly fired on a Turkish plane, If that is not the case, Turkey must bomb Syrian Military targets in reprisal that don’t want a war ,but they have no choice if it was a knowing attack on the Turkish Flag

  3. It is great to see there are some people who finaaly realize the foreign fighters in Syria are al Qaeda and they are slaughtering civilians. The US wants Syria to be a battleground for a proxy war that can turn into an actual war with Iran. The people of Syria now realize this and are trying to get rid of the jihadists, but nobody has control of them as they slaughter civilians. This is a CIA Black Op. If I were Iran I would invite Russia and China in and provide them with bases.

  4. Turkey is harbouring insurgents on behalf of the West, and insurgents are devastating the country. Turkey is sending jets into Syrian airspace to provoke war. These hostile acts are unwarranted. It must run an encompassing conference, inclusive of Syrian government and Iran and try to pacify the situation and find an acceptable solution.

  5. I hate to say it but it will open between Turkey and Syria probably purposely then Iran will get in and to one degree or the other Russia and China, I do not believe we are smart enough to keep out of it either.
