An Italian actor and TV personality, Pietro Taricone, fiancee of “From Paris with Love” star, Kasia Smutnia, who shot to fame after the Italian version of Big Brother, has died in a parachute accident on Tuesday.

The 35-year-old heartthrob who was part of the first Big Brother show in Italy in 2000, died in a parachute accident on

Tuesday after what is thought to be a freak wind or wrong maneuver caused Taricone to crash to the ground.

Taricone was reported to have received emergency surgery at the Santa Maria hospital in Terni for savior head, leg and back injuries.

The charismatic actor was also reported to have lost a lot of blood due to his injuries and died during surgery.

The heartthrob was known for his enthusiasm for extreme sports and regularly did parachute jumps, sometimes with his fiancée, model and actress Kasia Smutnia.

Taricone and Kasia Smutnia were due to get married and it has been reported that the “Paris With Love” star had rushed to the hospital after she heard of the tragedy.
