Istanbul / NationalTurk – NationalTurk announced last March that Maria Sharapova – boyfriend Vujacic wedding will take place in Istanbul, as the hot Russian tennis star and her fiancee Sasha Vujacic, who currently plays for Anadolu Efes Basketball club in Istanbul decided their wedding will be in Istanbul in November 2012.

Now the date for Sharapova wedding with boyfriend Vujacic is all set. The couple will marry under a Istanbul sky with beautiful Boshporus in sight on 10th November.

Sharapova and boyfriend Vujacic are in a relationship since 2009. The hot couple initially wanted their wedding to take place in May or August 2012, but decided to be wed in Istanbul this November due to hectic schedule of Sharapova at Grand Slams and London Olympics 2012.

Maria Sharapova said then she loved Istanbul but also added that the number of stray dogs in Istanbul saddened and upsetted her.

Istanbul is way cheaper and more beautiful than the other wedding place candidates, what played a significant role in the decision for Sharapova wedding.

Sharapova would like to have a ‘ quite intimate and small ‘ wedding ceremony, according to reports. Sharapova want her wedding to be ‘ quite modest, with only the closest people present ‘.   

The 25-year-old tennis star and Sasha Vujacic, who currently plays for Istanbul’s Anadolu Efes basketball club, were engaged in October 2010.
