Turkey : Turkish fighter plane crash, 2 pilots dead

Turkey’s state-run television reported a fighter jet has crashed during a training flight, killing its two pilots.

ANKARA, Turkey / NationalTurk – The state-run TRT television said the F-4 fighter jet crashed near the central Anatolian city of Konya, home to a large air base in turkey, on Thursday.

The cause of the crash is reported to be under investigation.

The F-4 fighter jets are used by Turkish air force for instructional purposes and referred publicly as ‘ flying coffins’.
