It’s no secret that Britney Spears (40) wants to say yes to her fiancé Sam Asghari (28). Surprisingly, however, comes the news that the wedding is imminent – this Thursday (June 9th)! The very first shots of the preparations and a good-humoured groom are in the video.
The US portal “TMZ” now reports that the singer and her loved one want to tie the knot today. As an insider divulges, the wedding should take place in the smallest circle of friends and family. About 100 people are said to be on the guest list – including Britney’s brother Bryan (45). According to the report, her father Jamie (69), mother Lynne (67) and sister Jamie Lynn Spears (31) are not there.
The bride-to-be is not brought down the aisle by her dad as is usual – who is surprised after all the years of fighting over her guardianship. It is not yet known who will hand them over to Sam instead.
This is Britney Spears’ third marriage
In May, Sam confirmed that the wedding date was set. At this point, however, he kept the exact date to himself. But it was clear to the fans that it wouldn’t be long before he married his Britney. For they already mocked their veil in a picture.
By the way, the 40-year-old said yes to Sam twice! She was already married to Kevin Federline (44) and Jason Alexander – with the latter only a few hours.

Wedding bells are ringing for Britney Spears.
The “Sometimes” singer and her fiancé, Sam Asghari, are getting married Thursday, according to a new report from TMZ. The pair will tie the knot in an intimate ceremony surrounded by about 100 people made up of friends and family.
The outlet reported Spears’ brother, Bryan, will be in attendance, but her parents and sister Jamie Lynn didn’t receive invitations after their fallout over her conservatorship battle.
Sources told TMZ that it’s not yet known who will walk the pop star, 40, down the aisle, as details are still being worked out.
Spears’ attorney didn’t immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
Ahead of the nuptials, Spears shared video of her and Asghari, 28, riding in a Rolls-Royce where she showed off what appeared to be a bridal-themed manicure and glasses of Champagne.
The personal trainer proposed to the “Crossroads” star at her house in September after nearly five years of dating.
“The couple made their long-standing relationship official today and are deeply touched by the support, dedication and love expressed to them,” Asghari’s talent manager, Brandon Cohen of BAC Talent, exclusively told Page Six at the time.
In November, Spears revealed that Donatella Versace would be designing her wedding dress.
Despite riding high on luxe vacations recently, the pair experienced a loss when Spears announced she had suffered a miscarriage.
“It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy,” the statement read. “This is a devastating time for any parent.”

Earlier this week, Britney shared videos of her and her husband-to-be cruising in a Rolls-Royce and sipping champagne.
The couple got engaged in September 2021, and were spotted ring shopping shortly afterwards.
At the time, the popstar announced the news via Instagram, sharing a video of her diamond ring, and wrote: “I can’t f***ing believe it 💍💍💍💍💍💍❣️!!!!!!”
