Indonesian lead singer of the band Peterpan, found guilty for making several homemade sex tapes and published in internet. Nazril Ariel Irham will spend next 3.5 years in jail.
Nazril “Ariel” Irham, was defended himself with his girlfriend Luna Mayo, a top model, actress and, until the scandal, the face of Lux beauty soap.
In court Presiding Judge Singgih Budi Prakoso told the court the star made the videos with two celebrity girlfriends and did nothing to prevent their wide distribution on the Internet. The judge said Ariel also showed no remorse.
In addition to jail time, Ariel was fined $25,000.
First clip he showed with his girlfriend Luna Maya, in the second clip showed him with a former girlfriend, also a well-liked model and television presenter.
The sex videos were published to public in June.
