Gangs of young adults and youths which were organised by Kyrgyzstan’s self-proclaimed government who helped in the uprising were also on the streets during the night to stop people from looting shops and offices.

The uprising forced the President Kurmanbek Bakiyev to escape to the South of the country where his strong hold is located.

Fatima Imanaliyeva, who was a former prosecutor said “Bakiyev must be tried and executed for all these crimes, they opened fire on crowds with women and teenagers, we will never forgive him. This is our revolution.”

Meanwhile Bakiyev has refused to step down as the president but offered negotiations with the leaders of the uprising.

There are also rumours that the Russia had also played a key role in the uprising that has led to 74 deaths as security officials used live ammunition on crowds.

However the Russian Prime Minister, Vladimir Putin has strongly denied and rumours that Moscow has played any role in the uprising in the former Soviet Country.

The United States has said that it will not be taking sides as they cannot afford any complications in the new arms-reduction treaty signed by the United States and Russia in Prague just yesterday.
