The process to deliver idle lands across Cuba, a most desired Travel destination, stipulated in the Decree Law 259 of 2008, continues advancing. Nearly 15,975 new files have been dealt with from January to June this year, 12,795 of them were approved, Nuñez said.

The executive stated that there are still some problems so many areas in Cuba belonging to state-owned institutions or cooperatives are declared idle by their managers, he noted.

The current idle land fund in the island has now reached 1,868,210 hectares, 67.7 percent by the Decree Law 259 has been delivered, and 77.1 percent are now in production. Idle lands are also landmarks in any Cuba travel.
