A man has been arrested after walking into a Florida cinema with Joker-style makeup and bright red hair.
Police surrounded the building after a film-goer at the Premiere Oaks Theater in Melbourne, Brevard County, spotted the man.
“It was a little bit out of the ordinary,” said Sergeant Sheridan Shelley, a spokesman for the Melbourne Police Department, according to FloridaToday.com.
“Usually, you would have people come in costume for a first night showing but not during the morning. In this case, we had a guy show up in Joker-styled makeup, wearing a black leather jacket, jeans and boots. He was definitely drawing attention to himself.”
It is thought he had bought a ticket to see The Expendables 2 but was stopped before he entered the cinema.
The man was not carrying any weapons and was arrested on an unrelated failure to appear warrant.

The 24-year-old, who had dyed his hair bright orange, injured a further 58 people at a midnight showing of the Dark Knight Rises in Denver.
