The true cost of US war: $3.7 trillion and 258,000 lives

The cost of U.S. military actions, Us war in Iraq, Us war in Afghanistan and Pakistan will exceed at least $3.7 trillion and counting plus more than 258000 lives.

The staggering bill will exceed $4.4 trillion, with the death toll up to 258,000 people, a study by Brown University’s Watson Institute for International Studies indicated.

In the 10 year span since first U.S. troops set foot to Afghanistan to liquidate the Al Qaeda leaders behind the September 11 attacks, spending on the warfares totalled up to $2.7 trillion.

Those numbers will continue to rise when considering often overlooked costs including obligations to wounded veterans and killed troops’ families and projected warfare spending from 2012 through 2020. These numbers also do not include at least $1trillion in interest payments and other expenses.
